Thank you.

Join us for Sunday School on Sunday, February 3, 2019.  We will be begin celebrating "Black History" month. Sis. Sadiqa Harris will be leading the Sunday School discussion titled "Eyes on the Prize".  There is a documentary available online by the same name that details the Civil Rights Movement.  The lesson text is from Philippians 3:7-14.  By participating in this discussion, you will learn the following:  1. To reinforce Paul's perspective of joy even in the midst of many trials, 2. To help you recognize what you can truly count as gain in your own lives, 3. For you to be able to forget what is behind and continue to grow closer towards Jesus, 4. Value your relationship with Christ above all other facets of your identity.   Breakfast will be served at 8:15AM.

2019 Evangelism Team – Evangelism is welcoming new visitors to our church, but it is also helping prepare all those who attend to make a commitment, or renew their commitment to Jesus Christ--to become disciples for Christ.  This means helping them to become Christians, to grow as Christians, and to serve as Christian disciples for Jesus.   With a gentle thought in mind, “We are here to be a light, bringing out the God-colors in the world.  God is not a secret to be kept.  We’re going public with this, as public as a city on a hill”.  Please join the Evangelism Team. For sign-up and questions, contact Sis. Susie Collins, Chair

The Kingdom Kids and the Sunday School Ministries are excited about teaching our children in 2019.  The teams are in the process of creating a Sunday School program for children from the ages of preschool - 5th grade.  It is called "Kingdom Kids Soldiers Boot Camp".  The kids will be trained to fight against the enemies with the Word.  Each Sunday morning will start at 8:30AM with a light snack in Malone Hall.  At 9:00AM - 9:45AM training 101 begins.  Training 102 begins at 10:30AM - 12:00PM. Teachers have been training for several months on curriculum that will be presented.  Bring your children, grandchildren and your neighbors children.
