CONGREGATIONAL HYMN #540 -----------------------------“Lift Every Voice And Sing”

Super Bowl Potluck: Are you ready for some football? Come back to church this afternoon at 3:30 pm for our Super Bowl Fellowship Potluck in Malone Hall. We are asking that all church members help out with the potluck by bringing appetizers, entrees, beverages, or desserts to feed 10-12 people. See Brother Ryan Credit about the list of food to bring. If watching the games is not your thing, we will have board and cards games, plus a cookout contest and more activities for you.

Food for Metropolitan Youth Have you been wondering how you could get involved? Your services are needed on Wednesday nights to prepare and serve food to our youth during the year. Signing up will also provide an opportunity for you to get to know and build relationships with our young people. Dinner is served at 6:30 pm each Wednesday. Please give your name to Deaconess Franklin, Skinner, or Gilliam and all details will be provided. Thank you for responding to this opportunity to serve.

2019 Evangelism Team – Evangelism is welcoming new visitors to our church, but it is also helping prepare all those who attend to make a commitment, or renew their commitment to Jesus Christ--to become disciples for Christ. This means helping them to become Christians, to grow as Christians, and to serve as Christian disciples for Jesus. With a gentle thought in mind, “We are here to be a light, bringing out the God-colors in the world. God is not a secret to be kept. We’re going public with this, as public as a city on a hill”. Please join the Evangelism Team. For sign-up and questions, contact Sis. Susie Collins, Chair.

OVERCOMERS MINISTRY NEEDS YOUR HELP: Our ministry is planning on passing out "Blessing Bags" to homeless women and men sometime in the near future. We are asking our church family to assist in donating with old purses, gift bags, toiletries, snacks (foods that are easy to chew), bottles of water, socks, scarves, beanies, old Bibles etc. We will have a box in the vestibule to place items in. Any questions you can see:

Sis. Mico Borders, Roxie Gilliam, or Debbie Ayers. Thank you in advance for your support.

COME TO SUNDAY SCHOOL: Your family and friends are invited to attend Sunday School at 8:30 am. We have a class for all ages and stages.
