Western Baptist State Convention Women’s Department: The WBSC Women’s Department Annual Session will be Thursday, August 8, 2019 at the New Hope Missionary Baptist Church, 1575 W. 17 St. in San Bernardino, CA, Dr. Michael Owens, Host Pastor. Members are asked to support Ashley Hackett (who will be recognized), and the Women’s Department Annual Session. You can start paying $25.00 for registration, lunch, and transportation by cash, or check--payable to Metropolitan Baptist Church, (other WBSC). Deadline is July 28, 2019. The bus will leave Metropolitan at 7:30 am. Color for the Annual Session is purple with white accessories.

Here's a little info on him: In the class of top LA DJ's is DJ Severe, he's the Official in game DJ for the LA Dodgers, LA Galaxy, Ontario Reign, (LA Kings) and Ontario Fury. DJ Severe got his start in the early 90's spin'n parties, right out of High School in Pasadena. He is the grandson of our own Mother McNair. For those of you who would like to make a monetary contribution to support, please feel free to do so to your Birthday chairperson, or Bro. Phil Madden. Below you will find a list of what dish or dishes you need to bring according to the first letter in your last name. Please prepare enough to feed 10-12 people. Thank You All.

“Back to Church Sunday” - September 15 “It Takes a Church” It is campaign time for “Back to Church Sunday”, and soon approaching. After church service, please stop by and register and receive your Metro's Invitation Cards. The cards are to be given to people of our beloved community, unsaved, unchurched, including family and friends. Please note, have the person to fill-out their address information; you, the Metro's member, will keep the address information and give to the 'Back to Church' Registration Table every Sunday. The Evangelism Team will keep records, pray over cards for person to receive Christ, and do proper follow ups by phone calls and e-mails. Evangelism Team members are: Debbie Ayers, Annette Puckett, Florence Madden, Kathy Murrell, Vice Chair, and Susie Collins, Chair. Come to Sunday School: Your family and friends are invited to attend Sunday School at 8:30 a.m. We have classes for all ages. The children will be served a light snack each Sunday before starting their class.

Prayer and Bible Study: Prayer and Bible Study at Noon and at 7:30 pm, will be on hiatus until September. The Youth and Young Adult Bible Study is on hiatus until August.
